
Finley Middle School students had the opportunity to participate in some great field trips during the month of April 2019!
Perry Technical Institute in Yakima
Eighth grade FMS students visited Perry Tech in Yakima to learn about each of the 13 specialized technical training programs the school offers. Established in 1939, Perry Technical Institute is a private, non-profit educational institution that allows individuals to acquire the skills to achieve gainful employment and have opportunities for advancement.

Health & Safety Expo at the TRAC
On Wednesday, April 17th, FMS 6th graders attended the
Health & Safety Expo at the TRAC in Pasco. Supported by the Department of Energy, Hanford contractors and Hanford unions, the EXPO helped both Hanford workers and the community explore numerous safety topics. The 2019 Expo included interactive booths, community breakout sessions, arc flash and crane demonstrations, and personal protection equipment fashion shows.
